Payment Splitter

Payment splitter is a decentralized application that facilitates payments among separate accounts, programmatically distributed agreed upon amounts among parties. This could apply for royalties for creative works, purchases of goods, donations to causes, or ticket fees for collaborative events. Inspired by the solidarity economy, the project explores alternative economic models that center community ownership and democratic governance.

The vision extends toward collectively managed funds governed as a DAO — mutual aid, giving circles, or climate action — where contributors earn governance tokens and vote on how funds are distributed, potentially using quadratic voting.
